  34.      Mini Scheduler was designed with the point and click user in mind.
  35.      There is nothing complicated to learn.  If you want to have a program
  36.      start at 11:05 AM, everyday, it's no more than a few clicks of the
  37.      mouse and it's done.  If you would like your kids to know when it's
  38.      time to shut the computer off, same thing.  With the two built in 
  39.      reminder options, you can notify the computer user of anything you 
  40.      like.  With the Auto Start feature, you can start any program or file 
  41.      you like at any time you like.

  43.      This is the first public release of Mini Scheduler, with that in mind
  44.      it's called 1.1b.  Mini Scheduler was tested and performs as it should, 
  45.      but it's amazing at how many good suggestions for features and 
  46.      improvements come in almost immediately, making the next version 
  47.      resemble little of the first. So whether or not other programs
  48.      that are first time releases call themselves betas, they are.  For that
  49.      reason this is called a "b" release.

  51. Additional Information:

  53.    *This program was written and designed on Windows 95, It may or 
  54.     may not work an Windows NT or some other 32 bit Operating Systems.
  55.     If you use it on an Operating System other than Windows 95 I make 
  56.     no guarantees about performance.

  58.    **The screen resolution for development was 800 X 600 and was chosen
  59.      because it is the average setting by users.  The program should be
  60.      usuable with other settings, but if you notice some fonts difficult
  61.      to read, that is probably the reason.

  63. Last Minute:
  64.  
  65.      There is a slight problem with "Modifying" an auto start in Mini
  66.      Scheduler.  This problem is confined only to modifying an existing
  67.      auto start.  If you click the modify button and then change only the
  68.      time or frequency and not the program, it gets saved as a one time 
  69.      audio reminder, and not an auto start.  The solution to this is to 
  70.      treat any modification of auto start information as if it were a new
  71.      autostart, resetting all as if it were empty.  This will be corrected
  72.      in the next release.

  74.      International users.

  76.      Mini Scheduler uses the dd/mm/yy date format.  If you are having 
  77.      problems with it showing incorrect days of the week etc., this is why.

  82.      Except for the date fix, and a new about screen, this file is 
  83.      exactly the same as the one included in this setup.  Simply 
  84.      replace the Schedule.exe that gets installed with this setup,
  85.      with the Schedule.exe that comes in the update.  The total 
  86.      download size is 41k.

  88. Installation:

  90.     Simply unzip the contents into a temporary directory and run the setup.
  91.  
  92.     You must be running Windows 95.

  94. Trouble Shooting:
  95.  
  96.     For the sake of download time and distribution size, some of the files
  97.     that may be necessary to run this software have been intentionally left
  98.     out of this zip.  This wasn't a haphazard decision, most systems will 
  99.     already have these files, or most of them.  Including them would double
  100.     the download time.  So for those of you that already have them, I am 
  101.     sure you appreciate the reduction in size, for those that don't the 
  102.     problem is easily resolved.

  118.     If you downloaded this from msn, you can get them in the "Shareware 
  119.     Tools Library".  If you downloaded this from winsite or some other 
  120.     archive, they too have these files zipped up, look for vb40032.zip or
  121.     something of that nature.  Just unzip them all into your Windows\System
  122.     directory.  The only exception may be the CTL3D32.dll, which may have 
  123.     to be placed in the Enigma directory.

  129.      Barring any unforseen, you will have a response from me within 12 to 24

  134.                reason.  If you use this software in a manner that was not 
  135.                intended, on an unsupported operating system or something of
